Live demo — five different builds
About 1
Live demo of the SF About 1 section — five expertly-customized variations on one page.
We’ve been making better everyday basics since 2014 — designed in New York, made to be lived in.
Our story
What started as a small studio experiment is now a wardrobe of considered essentials. We obsess over fabric, fit and the details you feel more than see — so the pieces you reach for first also last the longest.
Designed to be worn for a decade, not a season.
Our materials
Every piece begins with responsibly sourced fabric — GOTS-certified organic cotton, traceable merino and low-impact dyes. And when something finally wears out, we help you repair it, so it stays in your rotation and out of landfill.
A note from the person who started it all.
Behind the label
I couldn’t find the perfectly plain, perfectly made pieces I wanted to wear — so I made them. A decade on, that same standard guides every stitch we ship. Thank you for being part of it. — Mara, Founder
Cut, sewn and finished by hand, in small batches.
The process
We produce in limited runs with a family-run atelier we’ve worked with for years. Slower by design — it means tighter quality control, fairer wages, and far less waste than fast-fashion volume ever allows.
Built with — and for — the people who wear it.
Giving back
One percent of every order supports maker education in the communities we produce in. You vote with your wardrobe — we make sure that vote does some good.
