Charging and range
How long does a full charge take?
About seven hours on a home wallbox, or 20 to 80 per cent in 28 minutes on a 150kW rapid.
Can I install a charger at a flat?
Often, with the freeholder's consent. We handle the paperwork and there's a government grant that covers most of the cost.
What's the real-world range in winter?
Roughly 20 per cent below the summer figure. We quote both on every listing rather than just the flattering one.
How long does the battery last?
Warrantied to 70 per cent capacity at eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Getting started
I've never lifted before. Where do I start?
The Tuesday and Thursday beginners' hour. Empty bar, eight people, one coach, and nobody watching you.
Do I need my own kit?
No. Belts, straps, sleeves and chalk are all on the rack, and you're welcome to borrow them indefinitely.
Coaching
Is programming included?
A twelve-week block is included with membership. One-to-one coaching on top is £45 an hour.
Can I train around an injury?
Almost always. Bring the physio's notes and we'll build the block around what you can do rather than what you can't.
Repair questions
Do you repair boards or just swap them?
Component level wherever we can — reballing, tracing shorts, replacing individual ICs. Swapping the whole board is the last resort.
Is liquid damage recoverable?
Often, if it hasn't been powered on since. Ultrasonic cleaning within 48 hours has a good success rate; after a fortnight, much less.
What if you can't fix it?
No fee at all, and we return it in the state it arrived. Diagnosis is free whatever the outcome.
Do you recover data from dead devices?
Yes, in a clean bench, quoted per job. We'll tell you the odds honestly before you commit.
Practical questions
Can I see a room before booking?
Drop in any weekday between ten and four. No appointment, no tour guide, just have a wander.
Is there parking?
Eight spaces on a first-come basis, and a bike store with sixteen racks and a shower.
What's included in the rate?
Desk, chair, wifi, coffee, printing and eight hours of meeting-room credit a month. Nothing metered.
Can I have post delivered?
Yes, including a registered business address, at no extra cost on dedicated desks and private offices.
Membership questions
How often are new courses released?
One a month, released on the first Tuesday, plus a live Q&A with the tutor two weeks later.
Do I keep access if I cancel?
Every course you started while subscribed stays in your library permanently. Only new releases stop.
Are the sessions live or recorded?
Both. Sessions run live so you can ask questions, and the recording is posted within 24 hours.
Is it easy to cancel?
One button in your account, effective immediately, and no exit call. We would rather you came back later than felt trapped now.
